Hi! I’m Erica.

It’s nice to meet you.

I’m a licensed therapist and corporate dropout helping stressed out, frustrated, and (let’s be honest - kind of anxious) Type A’s create success on their terms

I’m a tell-it-like-it-is coach who thinks Band-Aid-style solutions are for the birds.

Here’s the thing - There isn’t a one-size fits all approach to hitting your goals. You need to get to the root of things so you can use your unique gifts, overcome personal blocks, and leverage success psychology to map out a plan that works for YOU so you can enjoy your success and achieve more.

And that’s why I’m here. Your work shouldn’t be your whole life – it should be the vehicle that helps you make an impact and create your dream life. I’m here to help you build it.

My clients describe me as caring and challenging

They also say I’m hilarious, super fun, and a (mindset) ninja

And I didn’t even have to pay them to say that

NOT YOUR AVERAGE BACKSTORY

How’d I get here?

I was pretty sure I was going to change the world as a therapist.

But fast forward 4 years after getting my MA in Counseling Psychology - I was working as a therapist in juvenile corrections, feeling frustrated, burnt out, and well, if I was changing the world - it sure didn’t feel like it.

So I traded in my therapy couch for a cubicle in Corporate America. Almost immediately, I was pretty sure I’d made a big mistake.

Providing management consultation and trainings to industry leaders didn’t feel like enough. So I launched a private practice side-hustle.

Having zero business or marketing experience, the private practice grew verrrrrry slowly. But it still grew. And in 2014, my husband sat me down and told me I was working too much and I needed to choose - the therapy practice or my corporate job.

Therapist or corporate?

If my life were a movie, this would be the glorious moment where I was super brave and went all-in on myself.

That’s not what happened.

Completely overwhelmed with self-doubt, I chose my corporate job and closed down the private practice. It felt safer to bet on a CEO who didn’t know me from Adam and rolled out semi-regular layoffs but sent me a predictable paycheck every two weeks than to bet on Me.

I told myself it was okay. My job was flexible. I got to work from home and wear yoga pants all day. It let me be a mom to my three kids.

But even though I had an amazing team and supervisor who tried to support me, I still didn’t feel like I was having the impact I so desperately craved.

I was bored, frustrated, and didn’t know what to do about it.

Becoming the CEO

I found coaching purely by accident (honestly, I thought “life coaching” was a dumb, made-up thing). But stumbling across a life coaching podcast, I was struck by how useful the content was.

So I launched a coaching side-hustle (still clueless about things like marketing and thinking that selling was super gross).

But I knew I could help people and I wanted to build a business that felt like ME.

I was not an overnight success.

After fumbling around for almost a year and consuming every Freebie on the internet, I hired my own coach. And shit got real.

I went from $3000 to $300,000 in just two years. I lost the 15 pounds I’d been trying to lose for 10 years. We bought a cabin in the mountains.

And when it came time to choose - my business or my corporate job - I decided to rewrite my story. I choose to be the CEO of my life. And I went all-in on my best investment - ME.

I found the answers

It took me a long time to figure out my career.

I kept looking for the answers outside of me and never found them.

I took career assessments. I asked friends and family for advice. I tried to stay where I was and practice gratitude. Nothing helped.

It wasn’t until I learned how to:

  • Listen to myself

  • Trust myself

  • Follow my desires

  • Do it scared

  • Let it be simple

…that things fell into place.

When I released people-pleasing, perfectionism, and my fear of failure, I finally found the answers I’d been searching for.

I’m on a mission to make sure you have everything you need to change your life. You deserve freedom, happiness, and a meaningful career.

You deserve success - on your terms.
